Bio: Octavian is a graduate of the University of Florida's college of journalism who has dipped his hand into many fields of photography. He interned at The Gainesville Sun daily newspaper and at a commercial photography studio, shot nine weddings by himself and has completed freelance assignments ranging from charity events to sports. Because of these experiences he realizes that pursuing documentary photo stories is his favorite. He enjoys the balance that shooting a wide range of subjects provides. He says he'll measure success by the reaction his work elicits from the public.
