Bio

After receiving her English degree from Whitworth College in Spokane, Wash., and dealing with a minor career crisis, Tahlia happened upon a job as a reporter in Livingston, Mont., population 7,000. She calls that experience "love at first interview." Tahlia worked at the 3,500-circulation daily for a year-and-a-half covering everything from schools to trials and things in between. She now works as a cops/courts reporter for the Skagit Valley Herald, a 17,000-circulation daily in Mount Vernon, Wash. Ultimately, Tahlia would like to write for "This American Life" on NPR. For now, she is addicted to a daily deadline.
