Cheryl A. Guerrero has a passion for telling people's stories through visual media. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Journalism and a minor in Marketing. She interned at the Oakland Tribune, Star Tribune, the (Cleveland) Plain Dealer, the Palm Beach Post and the Miami Herald. After Poynter, she will intern at the Chicago Tribune. She loves to live and meet new people in different places. Cheryl also has a passion for documenting hip-hop culture. Her dream job is to freelance for arts & culture magazines and to continue documentary work.
