Bio

Sarah Owen graduated from Arizona State University in spring 2008 with a bachelor's degree in journalism. She has worked as both the government reporter and the news editor for the university's daily newspaper, The State Press. She also worked a community beat for The Apache Junction News, a small weekly outside Phoenix. When she completes the Poynter summer fellowship Sarah wants to write; she's not picky about where.
