- Bio
Travis is; therefore he thinks, writes, takes pictures and tells stories. It took him a while to find journalism, but when he did, he knew right away that it was a perfect fit. Griggs moved to Knoxville for college at the University of Tennessee. He dabbled in a bit of everything but never decided on a major, instead wandering the mountains of eastern Tennessee having adventures and meeting fascinating people. Griggs has been all over; he spent a couple of years in the Air Force and a summer in Alaska. He finally got his degree in journalism in spring 2008, eight years after he started college. It's been a long road for Travis, but he says he wouldn't change a thing because this is what he loves to do. He tells stories. Travis will be working as a reporter for the Pensacola News Journal.
