Bio: Amber J. Adams loves the power of the written word. She is often scribbling in a notebook or pouncing on ideas that spark her passion. She graduated in August 2007 with a Communications degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She spent the last year completing editorial internships at The Times Free Press, in Chattanooga, Tenn., and at Women's Health Magazine, published by Rodale Press. Amber is interested in all facets of journalism including new media. She hopes to report on cultural issues, writing stories that promote discussion about diversity and human rights. After Poynter, Amber wants to be a reporter.
