- Bio
Jennifer Amur is a graduate of the University of Missouri's School of Journalism. For the past three years, she has put her energy into editing and everything that goes along with it by working for The Maneater, MU's student paper; the Columbia Missourian, Columbia's morning daily; AXIA, a public relations firm in Florida, and the St. Paul (Minn.) Pioneer Press. Somewhere in between, she spent a semester in London working for a nonprofit magazine called Index on Censorship, where she developed an unshakable passion for Turkey and international free expression issues. Maybe someday, far, far down the road, she will go back to human rights. For now, though, it's all about the newspapers.
