Bio

A graduate of the University of Missouri, Darla is a visual journalist interested in information graphics, design and Geographic Information Systems mapping. She's transitioning from print to Web design, as long as the baseline grid and white space can come along, too. Darla worked at the Missourian (daily newspaper) and at The Maneater (student newspaper) during college and did a design internship at The Tulsa World in Oklahoma. After her Poynter fellowship, she will be interning in news art at the St. Pete Times.
